Sourceful Energy December Update: Mobile App Launch, Technical Progress, and Growth

Mobile App Launch

One of our most anticipated releases is the Sourceful mobile app, which is currently in public beta through TestFlight and will soon be available on both iOS and Android platforms. The app introduces a game-changing walletless approach, allowing users without crypto experience to easily join our network. For crypto-native users, we maintain the ability to link Phantom wallets, with Solflare integration coming soon.

Integration with Major Inverter Manufacturers

We're expanding our reach through direct integrations with SolarEdge and Huawei systems. This opens up access to over 8 million connected sites worldwide. Users can now join Sourceful without purchasing additional hardware, though our gateway still provides enhanced capabilities and increased rewards through multi-source validation.

Multi-DER Support

Our platform now supports multiple Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) through a single gateway. This includes:

- Multiple solar inverters

- Battery systems

- P1 meters for energy consumption monitoring

This development means users no longer need separate gateways for each resource, making the system more cost-effective and user-friendly.

P1 Meter Integration

We're excited to announce integration with P1/HAN port meters, which are becoming the standard across Europe with approximately 180 million installations. This integration allows users without solar installations to join the Sourceful network, requiring only a compatible utility meter and an affordable dongle (ranging from $30-100).

Rewards System Evolution

We're transitioning from monthly to more frequent reward distributions, likely moving to daily or weekly emissions in January 2024. This change will provide more immediate feedback and better reward tracking for our users. The current points system will eventually be convertible to tokens during our Token Generation Event (TGE) in 2024.
